Candela is a sustainable food supplier based in Peru, focused on the development of ethical markets for natural, organic high-quality products. For the packaging of their brand new chocolate range, Candela wanted to showcase both their brand values as well as the biodiversity of Peru. The illustrations on the packaging show the hand of the growers and workers behind the products, which suggests fair trade and environmental care, whilst the plants, beans and fruits reflect the beauty of Peru’s nature. How do you persuade straight men to eat more chocolate? Put some boobs on it of course! That’s exactly what two Russian designers thought when they developed Titses – a range of chocolates that look like female breasts. Titses chocolate doesn’t only let you choose the flavour of your chocolate but also the size of the boobs which are available in size S, M, L and even XL! Superfood chocolate brand Doisy & Dam produce ethically sourced, organic chocolate bars full of exciting, innovative ingredients such as Goji & Orange, Maple, Toasted Rice & Pink Salt and Date, Poppy Seed & Baobab. In order to reflect their innovative offering, the brand was looking for a packaging that would excite customers about the product and create maximum shelf-appeal. Scottish chocolate manufacturer Ocelot takes great pride in designing chocolate that doesn’t only tastes amazing, but also looks amazing. The founders of Ocelot design all of their packaging themselves and make sure that the flavours and origins of each bar is expressed in the packaging design. Contemporary and impressive!
5. Hill St.
Hill St. produce luxury, artisan chocolate and wanted their bars to reflect their Craft & Heart principles as well as their origins in Saffron Walden. The modular design was inspired by the brand’s shop surface and clearly reflects the brand’s values, origins and high-quality products.
